White Rock Karate Club
The White Rock (hombu) dojo is headed by Chief Instructor, Shihan Takayuki Sameshima, a 7th dan black belt. In 2009, the White Rock dojo celebrated its 30th anniversary with a special demonstration that attracted current and former students. Shihan Sameshima, is recognized as a world-class karate instructor and regularly visits Japan to keep abreast of developments and attend special seminars.
In addition to the regular class schedule, Shihan Sameshima teaches weapons training (kobudo) every other Saturday and an advanced karate class for green belt level and up.
Beginners, kids and families are encouraged to attend regular classes and will receive instruction to allow them to develop their ability, skill level and confidence. Each class begins with warm-up exercises followed by a repetition of basic movements.

- Seek perfection of character
- Be faithful
- Endeavor
- Respect others
