The Chilliwack Karate Club is part of the Gima-ha Shotokan-ryu Association. Chief Instructor for Chilliwack is Troy Metzer, a third degree black belt (san dan).  Our classes are held at the McCammon Traditional Elementary School 9601 Hamilton Street, Chilliwack on Tuesdays and Thursdays. 

  • We stress fitness, self-defense and good basic techniques.
  • We strive to develop strong bodies and strong minds with the capacity to endure, yet showing humility and respect for others.
  • We develop speed and power with flexibility and inner strength. We help our students to grow, to strive without giving up, and to defeat the greatest enemy of all, self doubt.
